We officially launched our sustainable focused blog!
So we did it. We did the thing. We knocked on doors and we got in contact with those in the ethical and conscious spaces to launch our blog with a bang and introduce to the world why sustainability is so important for the present and future earth and all who inhabit it. Without wanting to cause more hurt and harm to or environment, MsNerriss.com launched in order to pull up the curtain and reveal what goes on behind Fast Fashion, the Beauty Industry, and hyper-speed Consumerist Economy. We also noticed the disparity of inclusivity within the ethical space and wanted to open the doors to more minorities and indigenous people to be represented.

Many of us, myself included, have been tokenized in campaigns in a way that leaves a bad taste in our mouths, as it is a half baked thought to include us, therefore not making us feel included or represented at all. We want to establish the true narrative, the one centered around a circular way of life as our ancestors intended. Colonizers marked it as primitive then repackaged centuries old practices in a way that is more palatable to Western consumers and set the trend for the rest of the world to follow. But GONE ARE THOSE DAYS. To that we raise a glass and say, CHEERS and GOOD RIDDANCE!
